Ethnic decor - attentive staff - excellent food - fair prices - a thoroughly enjoyable meal at a fine dining level without having to leave the Imperial

Situated within the Imperial Hotel (a beautiful venue in itself), we were probably too early to appreciate what this restaurant must be like when full. We were one of maybe four couples, so it was too serene for my liking (others may love this aspect). This is good Northern Indian cuisine: it's not an extensive menu, but what we did... More

When you enter hotel Imperial, well i have been there twice coupled with the current visit; you get a very different feeling. if you are a lover of architecture and want to feel the old style luxury (you have a Chanel store inside: currently reeking under the negative impact of demonetisation: no one wants to buy 250 grand worth of... We went to imperial hotel for lunch at their spice route fine dining restaurant located in the center courtyard. From the inside it seemed we were in ancient orient temple because each wall, ceiling, furnishing was totally replica of an old temple. It was very peaceful and serene atmosphere and the host looked elegant in the Asian ethnic attire. Soft... More

Inside the most stunning Imperial Hotel, is this masterpiece of a restaurant. It blew me away. The flavours where out of this world and the restaurant itself, the carvings and decorative artworks were a tribute to the east, its just perfect, like stepping into another world, the name fits so well, it truly is the spice route. If ever you... More

Inside the awesomely beautiful Imperial hotel . Impressive dining room , ( a bit dimly lit maybe...it was difficult to read the menu properly....)Excellent service , very attentive. Was expecting an interesting menu of fusion cuisines, but the taste was quite plain and not very surprising ....

Who said restaurants are just for dining! Here is a place in the heart of New Delhi which is an indoor tourist spot that also happens to be a dining place. Yes, it's an experience to be here. Don't miss the decor and paintings along the corridor that leads to this restaurant in Imperial Hotel. Don't forget to ask your... More

Both Asian / Indian restaurants in the Imperial hotel are very impressive and well worth a visit. The Spice Route is a "fusion" Asian restaurant. The food is beautifully presented and mixes exquisite flavours with great aplomb.

The decor is exotic with pillars taken from an ancient temple in Kerela . It is a museum with amazing historical hand paintings covering the walls. Tables are exclusive and the staff are so knowledgable of their menu it is a very special and romantic venue.
