This restaurant is inside Satyam cinemas campus in Royapettah. Initial days their taste used to be extraordinary but now a days the quality has come down but not bad at the same time not exceptional like initial days. IT is over crowded during weekend at in the evenings on weekdays.

Location: Inside sathyam, though you have sufficient parking but putting it in the right slot else removing it can become difficult. Ambience: Decent, can get slightly crampy. Service: Avinash was serving us, he was slightly naive and enthusiastic. He took additional measures to cross verify for our movie timing and our food needs and giving recommendations with great fervour. Making... More

Only a limited number of South Indian dishes are on offer but the food is served piping hot and is delicious. The Keerai vadai and Pongal are awesome.

I loved the food - had a very homely taste and well prepared. Will definitely go again when in Chennai. The restaurant is situated opposite a creche so if you have kids, you can leave for few hours at the creche and enjoy your meal or a movie at Satyam theatre. They were quick in serving the food and their... More

We have been to ID at Phoenix quite a few times and have always come out thinking we should avoid it the next time. You have to be very patient about the service - even when it is empty. There will always be a few items on the menu (and it is a very small menu) which wouldn't be available... More

The restaurant is a little difficult to access, being part of the Sathyam theatre complex. There are not too many seats available, so you may have to wait a while to get your turn, but the food is worth waiting for . I would in particular recommend the Idlis and Pongal. The idlies are really soft and melt in your... More
