We could not wait to try this restaurant. There were five of us in the party. We all got something different. We all agree that the only meat that we cared for was the smoked turkey. All of us said that we would rate this...More

We were sightseeing in an old Victorian neighborhood and resident told us about this place. Apparently a prize winner in national competitions. Brisket was awesome - chopped pork terrific! Coleslaw was "weird" to us - runny and kind of sweet. Other sides were good. Pies...More

Watched an episode of Man, Fire, Food and saw this place....so we had to stop on our way to Florida. It did not disappoint. The ribs were outstanding and the lemon ice box pie was to die for.

Big Bob Gibson's has been a family favorite for us for many years. The barbecue sandwich is great, love the brisket, and don't forget the peanut butter, lemon, or coconut pie (I can't make up my mind which is best)!! Highly recommend.

Most of it is pork with their special sauces and spices. Hard to find a table at certain times. NOt used to the kind of spices they use here. But everybody else must like it as it does get full.

Not sure why this is voted the best place to eat in Decatur, because it's not. They have a famous sauce, it's even sold in stores, but that's about it. The staff isn't friendly and the food is only okay.

We will be going to Memphis in May later but had the chance to go here on our way to Gulf Shores. How can you pass up trying the most winning man in BBQ, 5 time Memphis in May Champ. We were not disappointed. We...More
