I have visited Dreamcakes the last 2 Wednesday's because their gingerbread men are so yummy. Each one is decorated uniquely, very cute. The gingerbread men are not too hard or chewy, just right, with a perfect amount of ginger. Thanks Dreamcakes! Oh and their shortbread...More

I read about this bakery being the best bakery in Alabama so thought I would visit it when I was Birmingham. When I mentioned to the clerk that I had come 2,000 just to see the bakery, she was so noncommittal -- "Well, yeah, we're...More

dropped in shortly before closing and picked up two cupcakes and a soft drink. I chose a vanilla and almond flavored cupcake and a carrot cake one with cream cheese frosting. Both were more moist and excellent.

First time here and the cupcakes are very good. The cake is moist and buttercream not overly sweet. This day was only basic flavors but hope to try some of their specialty flavors. My favorite was the caramel. Worth a stop for a sweet treat.

There were very pretty cupcakes, cookies and brownies in the display cases. And the old fashioned location is adorable. I loved the little tables and the tiled ceiling. I got the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. The icing was very good, but the cake was OK....More

Macarons are made with almond flour, I believe they are gluten free, and I know they sell them in small and medium in size.
