Pretty good food, okay service, fun atmosphere ... I had the lobster and crab bucket. The meat and veggies were good.

It's my birthday weekend and I want seafood. After searching review after review I finally select Joe's Crab Shack. I love charbroiled oysters so I am excited to see they are on the menu. I didn't review the other options, because I knew exactly what I wanted, nice tasty charbroiled oysters prepared with parmasean and spices. The waiter politely informed... More
John had never been to Joe's, so we just had to go!! Zach was our server, he started out a little quiet, but when you meet John and fist bump him, that's it, so Zach opened up. It's difficult to mess up crab legs, so I'll focus on our service. Once he loosened up, we had a great time with... More
Having never eaten at this chain, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. Manager honored our request to turn off the speaker that was blasting over our table and move us from facing the kitchen.
There were many birthdays that night. The servers were very creative with the birthday songs. The server for our party of 9 provided poor service. You can't beat the food and the fun. My friends and I always have the best time at Joe's Crab Shack when we go to Birmingham. They usually have us seated in a timely manner whereas some restaurants have hours of waiting.
A yummy unscheduled family dinner...enjoyed an old bay snow crab bucket followed by the FAB key lime pie for dessert... Service was charmingly southern & our pipping hot buckets arrived quickly despite the crowded dining room... Festive atmosphere worth a revisit.
