Food was served in plastic baskets, plastic silverware, etc. SMall family owned establishment. Friendly service. We had a variety of cajun cooking, fried, good food. Fair prices and authentic. Makes for agoos lunch.

I'd heard good things about this place so I finally tried it. It was good but not extraordinary. Maybe I just caught it on a bad night. We had the Catfish Arcadian. The fish was tasty but the etoufee was a touch fishy and greasy. I'll give it one more chance and try something else. We were also disappointed that... More

We were in Huntsville and stopped in for some po'boys. The food is just like you are in New Orleans. This is the place to be for Cajun food in Huntsville.

This restaurant can offer you a lot of seafood for a small price, but the cleanliness is questionable. They serve up a lot of food, so maybe it is hard to keep a handle on things. The 'baskets' come with fries and 'french' bread (toasted a little), nothing green, all carbs. If you don't want atmosphere and you don't mind... More

We visited The Po Boy Factory yesterday. This happened to be the day of the Mardi Gras parade in Huntsville that we also attended. I mention that because this meant there were a lot of people in town with the theme of the restaurant in mind which meant that there were a lot of people in the restaurant. When we... More

Have been here many times and absolutely love the food, and the ambiance. Has a combined sports and Mardi Gras environment. A must-see in Huntsville.

Get the Scruffy Special. Owners are authentic Louisiana bred, and almost always on site and attentive to customers. Staff have been there for years. Gets crowded at lunch time, but service is fast. Don't come for lunch with a big group, come with 2 or 3 friends. No wait for dinner.

We visited after reading TA ratings. We were not disappointed. I had the seafood platter and my wife had the crab cakes. We were impressed with both.

I ate here twice while on a business trip. The first time was because a local freind recommend it, the second because I couldn't leave town without eating there again! The bread they use to make the po boys is amazing. And you definitely have to get the gumbo.

It's rather small, and the atmosphere is sort of "shabby" but I guess that could be on purpose, looking for an authentic feel. I wasn't impressed with the size of the portions for the price, but it was good.
