The Satay or BBQ skewered meat on a wooden pick. The dimension is about 3 inches by quarter inch. There is only chicken and pork satay for selection. If one of the meat type was to be sold out, then it is your choice. Other than meat satay, the shop also sells liver and intestine skewers. All four types of... More

Went to try due to the reviews of the special pineapple sauce they used for the satay. Only pork available when I went. The food and sauce are ok and nothing out of the ordinary like other reviewers had described. Perhaps my expectations were raised by the other reviews.

Reached there at about 4pm plus and there was only one table occupied, so the order came pretty fast. Minimum number of satay sticks is 10. RM 0.90 per stick. Pork satay was a bit salty for me but the sourish sauce complements it. Good to try.

They have beef chicken and pork satay. Completely on jonker street attractions. You may find a nice malacca style satay in this place. Running by the family and must try the wayer melon juice that fresh from the fruitself

I used to patronize this eatery at Jonker Street. A very simple shop house with just two charcoal grills and as the seller finished grilling you can just take a few sticks. Now the young man I knew is an elderly man with lots of helpers to help skewer the pork, liver and intestines satay. The grills are now indoors... More

I've had great Malay satay in KL, that I thought could never be equalled. Most of the Chinese satay I've had in Malaysia just lacked spice and any distinct flavor, so I'd been neglecting it on my visits to Melaka. Finally cracked, and gave it a shot--and WOW. The pork skewers were suprisingly tasty and spiced but without the Malay... More

Things have changed a bit since my last visit since a couple of years ago - well the bad part is that this place is a little out of the way near the Ranger College - and is a fair walk from Jonker Street - especially in the hot sun unless you have a car . Now you have to... More

Went in the late afternoon so not much choice, only pork satay were available. But was pleasantly surprised by how well the salty pork satay went with the pineapple laden peanut sauce.

Few years ago, I went and tried out the satay. It was really GOOD and DELICOUS!! It make me felt it is the best satay I had ever tried. Because the sauce is special. The satay is juicy. The sauce has pineapple in it and this match perfectly with the satay, That makes me miss it a lot whenever I... More
