Absolutely the best place to eat in Malacca. Gorgeous, delicious , great service, live concerts. Honestly the best cream chowder I have ever eaten in my life at a great price! You can find both Malysian and European dishes at really good prices and both extremely delicious. 100 % deserved recommendation. Simply the best.

It is a pity when a place have such a great location and such historic buildings that food and service don't don't measure up. The food lacked lustre (I had the most tasteless laksa in Malaysia) and was quite pricey, and the service was pretty average. It got even more pricey when we realised that prices didn't include gst and... More

Cheap quality food with exorbitant price! The food is tasteless and flavourless and soul less, we paid 110+ RM for the food for 3 people. I don't think we'll come back to this hotel ever again.

We got to this place quite late and we did not expect to have such a good experience. Personnel truly kind and helping, a small court with open air tables and fans to move air (luckily no freezing aircon as in most of the places!). A duo of very good musicians/singers were accompanying our dinner with a vast selection of... More

The building does actually date back to 1673. I sat in the courtyard but there are tables inside as well. Friendly & helpful staff. Service was fast & efficient. I had braised chicken with dried chilli and was very happy with it. With a beer it came to RM31. I would happily have gone back, but there are too many... More

We went here for a drink on a hot malacca day. The place is quite nice and in a quite alley. You can see honker street but have less of the noise. Service however was average and the prices higher than normal. From 2 to 7 they have happy hour with discounted drinks. They have free wifi.

The food was adequate and the beer reasonably priced. My expectations were so much higher than what I received which is why I scored lowly. I would not return for a second visit

We came across this place while walking down Junker Street and we are so glad we did. The food was really good and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were very disappointed as we didn't realise the market would not be on when we were there but finding this place made up for it. My family would recommend... More

My 2 orders of Nyonya dishes; Otak Otak and Okra with sambal were unpalatable. The setting and beers were fine.

Want something special on your visit to Melaka? Try 1673! Great food well prepared and served in a relaxing environment. Prices are reasonable and the staff were attentive and helpful. Best meal in Melaka.
