I felt the Poh Piah was good but my parents thought they were too dry and tasted weird. All I can say is the filling is darker than the ones we normally eat and instead of strong shrimp based taste, the filling tasted overwhelmingly pork lard and more like Teochew duck sauce. Did not taste much prawn.

Service was good. Ordered 1. Popiah 2. Laska 3 rojak 4. Tabao nonya dumpling I super love the laksa served piping hot! The crispy fried dough in the rojak. And the calories i pile on chompin on the pork lard popiah. Can try! Need to wait as only 1 chef who is responsible to cook all the dishes for u

basically during each visit to Melaka, without fail must visit this popiah place TWICE. The skin of the popiah is soft and fresh, the ingredients used is fresh and the key to the popiah is the nice fragrant pork lard.

We order 1 popiah, 1 nonya zhang, 1 rojia and 1 laksa. The place was very crowded but the service was still very good and the food still come very promptly. The popiah was so nice that we have to order 1 more, even we are already quite full. The laksa was pretty spicy.

My wife and me have been patronising this little quaint shop, the deco is nothing to shout about, but if you have tried all sorts of Singapore popiah, then i suggest you have a go at this version, they have nice fragrant pork lard inside it, together with piping hot fillings, with a option to add more ingredients. Their laksa... More

Have been visiting this stall for years but not on regular intervals. Despite that, the friendly chap and his father remember both of us. Nicest poh piah tastes.

We discovered this place by chance and don't be deceived by the looks. It's a basic and simple restaurant with very tasty food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent prices. I will definitely go back for more Poh Piah or Laksa
