We had queued up for more than 75 minutes before getting seats in the late afternoon. The restaurant is very small and dirty. The satay food arrived very fast after you ordered. The satay sauce tasted very good and the food was fresh. There was basically feed and go style and limited time for enjoy eating as there were people... More

So I came here with fellow travelers when it was not that busy. I can see from other reviews it often is super busy. After a long and hot day strolling around, this was a perfect mix of spice and experience for me. Great taste and variety!

It has changed to more spicy ingredient as the sauce I used to was not that spicy like now . But one-after-one I find myself unstopping having new dips until i was fully filled. The spiciness kills me and also kills my weight. LOL great job. The only thing need to change is about the cleanliness of the back kitchen.... More

I don't understand the good reviews on here. The place is unclean, has massive queues (no idea why), the satay sauce is reused (ours tasted of the fish someone cooked previously), the meats are such low quality you could be eating anything, the fish is foul. The worst place we've eaten in this wonderful foodie town. Go anywhere else!

Once you are seated, go to the back and pick out satay sticks and bring them to your table. There is a wide selection of meats: chicken, beef, prawn, fish balls, quail eggs, vegan and tofu that you can choose from. The staff will start up your burner and prepares your pot. When it starts boiling just get your stick... More

There was a queue but quick to move. Lok-lok are sticks dip in the soup and they used boiling satay sauce instead of boiling water. The satay sauce was too spicy for me, and I recommend that you order the Plum juice. I had a feel the Satay sauce is shared among the tables, but overall the food is good.

one of the pioneers in satay celup, come as early as 4 pm to avoid the queue. The food is so-so, as "lok-lok" is widely available in other place. However, the novelty of eating it in peanut satay sauce instead of the usual chicken soup or tomyam soup is a rather nice experience.

Went there on Sunday night at 5.45pm. A long queue were formed. Was told need to wait for at least 2 hours. So we gave up. Went back on Monday at 4pm. Get a table easily. the food was ok. The only question keeps lingering on my mind is will the satay sauce be recycled since all customers left behind... More

This restaurant is a must-see in Melaka. It opens up at 5 pm and the people often line up in front of the restaurant to get a table. The price is very low and the taste sooo delicious! Per stick you pay 1 RM and there are many differemt sticks with veggies, meat and other stuff. Also the sauce is... More
