First visit to this chain. Enjoyed the wide variety of soup/salad bar. Service was excellent. The waiters with skewers of beef chicken and lamb were regularly offering slices. House wine was good and although expensive, the 20% military discounts brought the price down. Come hungry!
I should begin by saying that we arrived at 8p, the restaurant closed at 9p. We came from Biloxi and got caught in traffic. We expected the food offerings to be a little less than we normally expected from TDB, since we arrived so late......but we did not expect the poor treatment!
There were less than 30 patrons, yet we waited at the desk for nearly 10 minutes before being welcomed and seated. We waited another 10 minutes before snagging a server... who got OUR server. Of course, by the time we got to the cold bar, it was nearly empty. We were offered meat TWICE! The manager actually greeted us about 15 minutes into our meal and hurriedly took away plates. We, very politely, said we didn’t get much to eat. She actually SCOLDED us for coming in at 8:30! (Remember, we arrived at 8p). We are the kind of people who don’t make a scene... we just don’t return. The little food we got was actually good, and the servers very nice... but, the sarcastic, indifferent manager, and the hostess, were shameful! If I were Texas de Brazil, which we visit often when traveling, AND LOVE, I would check into this.More
It was like a upscale ruby Tuesday or any steak house. Excellent salad bar with hot and cold on it. Meat .... OMG .... it just comes out different meats at a time anyway you want. The dessert is ok, not mouth watering but ok.
Just like all of the other Texas de brazil I visited. This one was just as good as all the others, which I’m sure doesn’t sound like a complement but for some restaurants that is very difficult to achieve. The only recommendation that I can...make for this location is keep the steak flowing, it seem at one point that they had no steak out and it was everything but. I’m sure I’ll be back since I’m moving to the areaMore
This was the best experience at this type of restaurant ever!! We arrived in time for happy hour where well drinks were half price 4:30-6. We had a $20 coupon because it was husband's birthday month. The salad bar was fabulous- shrinp, wonderful charcuterie items...- cheeses and meat. Lovely pineapple carpaccio-- sliced so thin and sweet. Lobster bisque. The meats were cooked perfectly to our preference as our waitress asked how we liked ours cooked. So often places like this like to serve the meat rarer than we like. Leg of lamb and lamb chops my favorite, and they had HUGE shrimp which were seasoned wonderfully. Garlic tenderloin was pretty good too. Definitely a great dining experience!! Oh and though we were totally full, my husband got to pick a free dessert for his birthday- we got it to go!More
The food is always great but we usually fill up before getting to dessert. I had previously signed up for email notifications and we received an email for free dessert for our Anniversary. The Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake were very good and shouldn’t be...overlooked!More
Normally the food and service is great. Sunday May 5, 2019 at 7:35 pm, my husband and I were very disappointed. The bar where the sides are had burned old potatoes. Hardly anything there. There was hardly any rice and what was there was “crunchy”....More potatoes were brought out but they said they were completely out of rice......????? Really? Honestly?
We are regulars and come there knowing what we want and what to expect. We always spend over $100 and leave great tips. Hopefully they never run out of rice and serve old potatoes again.
A restaurant with $43 plates should never run out of $1 rice. Sam’s Club and Wal Mart are across the street by the way. Serve the customer and just trash the extra.More
The food is amazing!! The salad bar is filled with delicious salmon, soup, olives, cabbage and so much more! People walk around with succulent slabs of meat ranging from lamb to fillet mignon to perfectly cooked ribs. The guys walking around with the various types...of meats are wearing cute costumes and telling fun jokes or interesting facts. For example, if they come to your table with a certain kind of meat they’ve prepared it before, so you basically get to meet the chef. When we requested more ribs the guys sent the ribs over right away. The hostess was nice and the managers were visible and attentive. My only complaint is that our server Brian was slightly flippant. He followed the basic steps of service, but there were no frills or thrills with this guy. And when you asked him a question his response was like eating dry toast without water, dry as hell.More
