Great food, Great service! Called ahead to see if they could accommodate 20 hungry basketball players. When we arrived they were ready & waiting. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. I would recommend Martin’s.

Martin's has been around Montgomery for a long time and if you ask anybody they're going to tell you to get the friend chicken! If you prefer dark meat be sure to specify! Go get you a nice southern meal !
Ate here fora business lunch and the food was very good. Best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Crispy but not dried out. The vegetables/sides were nice size portions and well seasoned. I will be back sooner than later.
We read the other reviews and decided to try their lunch special. We arrived just before they opened to find a line of local folks waiting....we knew we had chosen just the right place! The menu is extensive but we went with the recommendation of...More
A great Montgomery tradition. Went by for lunch on Sunday, I had fried chicken with turnip greens, black-eyed peas and glazed apples. As always, great fried chicken. The vegetables are well seasoned and desserts are awesome. Like a Southern Sunday lunch at Mother's!!!!!
You can't beat the "meat and three" meals at Martin's! Each day has several choices of entrees and a varied list of sides. The meals include iced tea and the total (with tax) is $10 even. A lighter meal is available, but the difference in...More
This is a local restaurant that specializes in home cooking and homemade deserts. I went with a group on a bus to eat here, while visiting some sites in the Montgomery area. The food was good, but in my opinion "over rated". The desert that's...More
Instant mashed potatoes and instant gravy - really?? Green beans delicious. Fried chicken awesome. Cornbread, great taste, but dry. Homemade pies have a commercial crust. Country fried steak and gravy was really more like a hamburger steak and gravy, not fried. Overall okay, but disappointing.
The restaurant was packed with senior citizens when we arrived in time for the lunch specials--an even $10 with sweet tea and tax. We've been searching for a small soul food buffet we visited in Montgomery over a decade ago. This was not it. No...More
