I used to love this restaurant but every time I go it gets worse and worse. The service is horrible to the point where the hostess told us to wait to be seated and disappeared into the kitchen while the Dining Room was empty. I can understand why their waitstaff quit. No one at the table had a complicated order... More

We stopped in for dinner. The Shepherds pie was great, but burgers were just ok. Grilled Chicken sandwich was supposed to be on a roll but came on toast. Overall service was great when we had his attention. A large party came in and the server split with another so service was painfully slow (though admittedly he was working hard).... More

From out of town and was invited out for cocktails since all of us were departing the following day. I was tired but glad I went. Cool atmosphere. The service was superb!! Our server suggested that the gravy over fries. AWESOME!!!!

Large portions and great food. We frequent the Bred Pub especially for their Maytag chips appetizer, fish and chips, and the O'Malley's Shillelagh.

The food was good with large portions and good quality but the service was so bad, we sat waiting for silverware to eat our salads, asking twice and finally just cancelled some of our drink orders that never came. Too many awesome eateries here to deal with that.

We have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the food, not tonight. First my fish and chips were burned and the grits in the shrimp and grits were watery. our bread pudding was also burned and just covered with sauce to hide it. when my wife told the hostess this as we were leaving all she said was "Oh,... We didn't think a hamburger could be this good! Came back the next day for more! Located in the downtown revitalized area of Opelika. It is a charming pub.

We met friends for dinner at the Irish Bred Pub in Opelika, Alabama on our trip back from the Smoky Mountains. The food was very good and our Shamrock drinks were delicious. Our waitress could not have been better. She was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere and we arrived before the supper crowd arrived. We will definitely dine there again... More

Here at Irish Bred Pub, our vision is to be the hub of our community and to create a new "local" in Historic Downtown Opelika - a place where people gather, exchange ideas, make new friends, catch up with old friends. At our restaurant you will enjoy locally grown vegetables, fresh beef, chicken, and seafood served by the area's friendliest service staff and prepared by our Chef, Chris Stone (a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute who came to us from Wolfgang Puck Catering) and his team. Hosting an event or have a big group to feed? Well you're in luck because Irish Bred Pub does catering! Now we can bring the delicious food and drinks right to you and ensure that your event is a huge hit. Some of our most popular dishes include our fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and Guinness BBQ Bacon Burger. So come on in, pull up a chair, relax, and let us serve you as the worries of the day melt into distant memories.
