If your in Pelham, Alabama (Oak Mountain area) you must eat here. The Italian food is great! It's not that fancy of a place. You order, pay first, seat yourself and get your own drinks, but the server's bring your food out and tend to you. The owner, Walter, comes around and talks to you. Walter a true New Yorker... More

Discovered Nino's when the child started college in the Birmingham area. Do not come here for the atmosphere, come here for the food. This visit I had the manicotti. The serving size was perfect and it tasted wonderful. I have not had a bad meal here, so we will be back.

My husband and I shared our 14th wedding anniversary by having a totally awesome meal at Nino's Italian Restuarant. It's a very casual atmosphere with five star service, and an owner, Walt Caron with an abundance of personality just waiting to share it with you. His desserts are all homemade, and out of this world!! THE BEST tiramisu!! Don't believe... More

True Italian food. Great atmosphere and great for children. They do serve wine and beer, as well as your usual drink sweet and unsweet tea and coke products.

Nice clean place that serves good Italian food at reasonable prices. The Calzones are great. Self ordering. Order is served to you table. There are lunch specials during the week.

This Italian restaurant reminds me of the Italian restaurants I grew up with in Brooklyn N.Y. which by the way was also called Nino's. Pricing is reasonable the taste is wonderful.

We went with a group of 60. Most chose the awesome buffet. Our tables were set for us including water. There were two food bars-salad n meat n veggies. Both were well stocked, delicious and a great variety of food for only $12.95 per person!! There was no crowding or standing in line. They do not serve alcohol. The restaurant... More

Stopped in after the alabama vs Texas a&am game. We normally stay in the northern part of Birmingham but everything was sold out. We ordered a large pizza and it was good. The place wasn't really busy and we were served quickly.

Food very good but service was interesting. You order at register when you enter, pay for your meal then seat yourself. You get your own beverage also. A number placed on table and food is brought to you. No service. Don't go expecting to have a nicely served Italian meal.
