The service is good but the food is nothing to write home about. Portion sizes do not justify the price on the lunch menu. This really shouldn't be calle a Steakhouse as the steaks are very tough.

Our family was visiting Pell City around lunch time and decided our Florida relatives would enjoy the food at Steakhouse. They did! We all thought the vegetables were delicious - especially the corn nuggets. I also enjoyed the lima beans, fresh sliced tomatoes, corn bread and apple cobbler. My mother ordered the salmon patties and vegetables (took half home); my... More

I had heard rave reviews about this restaurant so I was disappointed. I agree with the others reviews that is a step back in time. Desperately needs upgrading. Average food.

Pell City Steak House is a place I visited as a young adult at least 40 years ago. I had the opportunity to go back this weekend. It was if time had stopped but the food had continued to be great. Everyone with in a fifty mile radius makes it a regular stop if traveling thru Pell City. The food... More

This place used to be the best place around. Many would come from near and far. Not anymore. I have been coming since I was a kid (40 yrs). But will not come back until the owner does some major changes in the cooking and cleanliness. I went to lunch in January and got the fish meat and three. The... More

The Steak House has been around for 50 years and they are still going strong! The outside definitely looks like a local restaurant, but once inside you know you have arrived at a good, local dive. My favorite dinner plate is the butterfly shrimp. Large and lightly breaded with a wonderful flavor! Service is always great. If you happen to... More

Traveling on I-20 across Alabama? Hungry for a real old-fashioned burger and fries at its best? Or, steak and the works, fresh veggies, homemade desserts? Then, exit at the Pell City exit off of I-20, travel approximately 2 miles into town and you'll find Pell City Steakhouse on your left, on the corner of Hwy 78 and Comer Street. It's... More

Stopped in for a vegetable fix. As usual a well seasoned plate hot and served by a friendly staff with a smile. Never have to ask for anything as your needs are met at all times.

They have a variety of meats and veggies for lunch. Food is very good and cooked like Southern folks like it. I have eaten here many times and the food is consistently good. Menu varies by day. Highly recommended for folks looking for good Southern country cooking. Service is quick and efficient. Jumbo fried shrimp is a good dinner treat.

The restaurant is frequented by locals. The menu is basic: fried shrimp, burgers, steak, salad. They serve moderate portions of pretty good food, for not a bad price. Interior is outdated and dirty.
