Despite the fact it was super busy, it didn’t take long to get a table. Service was quite fast and everything I ordered, braised pork, rice, mushrooms and broccoli was very good. What bothers me is that even though it is not super cheap, they...More

We have been to grandmother a couple of times. The food (see pictures below) is very tasteful, the service is fast and the place itself is very frequented (mainly by Chinese people). Would always come back for some delicious corn waffles;)

My favourite restaurant in Shanghai, my go to eatery when people visit from overseas and my first pick when asked for recommendations. Reasonably priced and lovely staff. So many vegetarian dishes to choose from and the staff have been happy to accommodate leaving meat out...More

Five minutes walk from the Bund and easy to find. This is a busy restaurant and you should come here early as you might need to wait for a table. Foods are awesome and prices are reasonable. I can say this is simple but good.

We ate here, as it is close to the Bund, and just happened by. So glad we ate here as the food was simply amazing. We ordered several dishes and a few beers. Would definitely return.

They serve the best traditional Chinese meals. It’s right off the Bund. Just put your headcount in with the grandmother/traffic director at the door and soon you will be directed to a table with an attentive service team. Your entrees are delivered to the table...More

The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the
world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous
waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts
monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai
International Settlement run by the British and
Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has
endured over time and is now found in the five-star
hotels, luxury brand boutiques and expensive
