This is a nice restaurant in a great location. We made a reservation for a Friday night and i think it's a smart idea, although there were a few open tables when we were there. The food was fast and the service was good. We tried a couple of starters including the veg spring rolls and the veg bread. The... More

Great and fancy place. They serve the best dishes from different China regions. The price is reasonable for the service and food served there.

After a busy 2 days of work, a group of 7 of us went to relax and enjoy some authentic food. Rverything from the service, the ambience, food, drink and decor was absolutely spot on. One of the best restaurants I have visited and great on price too! The Burmese beef curry was AMAZING! One of our party had a... More

In my experience, Lost heaven comes up on the short list of nice restaurants near the Bund to try. It doesn't disappoint as the restaurant has an upscale and ethnic feel for a lovely night out. We tried everything from tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp (with the head on), eggplant etc etc and found everything full of flavor and well portioned.... More

It is a very good restaurant, with ethnic customs, very taste, it is worth trying it, the environment elegant and cozy. I am a tour guide in Shanghai, a lot of customer response is very good. I come from the beautiful place call Jiuzhaigou, my hometown is also a minority areas. So I have a unique ethnic feeling.

Staying in The Bund

Neighbourhood Profile
The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai International Settlement run by the British and Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has endured over time and is now found in the five-star hotels, luxury brand boutiques and expensive restaurants that can be found within the historic buildings. A cultural center has built up away from the water and some of Shanghai’s best art galleries and museums are housed close to the Bund. Nighttime views of Pudong and the rest of the city also make for a great backdrop at the many rooftop clubs.
