had dinner with business partners at imperial treasure. no doubt, they serve excellent traditional cantonese food - in a classical chinese setting: large round tables, everyone picks from the rotating center. the staff is reluctant and simply fills up the disc, without explaining what they...More

Food: I tried one of the two pre-set menus. Seven courses total of a fairly light pickled snack, an egg and corn soup, three fairly minimalistic pieces of beef with a roasted garlic on top, one Shrimp with olives, a noodle soup and spinach with...More

Was invited here by a local wine critic. We byob’d no problem, no corkage but this is definitely not the norm. Peking duck excellent, eggplant succulent, Vegetables spicy and amazing. Decor, service, stemware, all top class. Very roomy and prestigious dining room. All top staff...More

As Shanghainese restaurants go, this is a great Cantonese restaurant. On the other hand, as Cantonese restaurants go, this does not deserve 2 Michelin stars. It is most comparable to Hong Kong's Cuisine Cuisine, which dropped its one Michelin star in 2016. That said, it's...More

I was invited to a meal at the Imperial Treasure on 12/10/17. This restaurant meets all the standards one would expect from a 2 star Michellin establishment, however, be warned they have many SHARK FIN dishes on their menu. A quarter of the worlds Shark...More

It used to be a great Cantonese restaurant. I was disappointed with my recent visit. Quality of Dim Sum was inconsistent. Service is very average. Definitely not a Michelin 2 star restaurant.

At least for Dim Sum. Everything was very average. If it weren't on the Michelin Guide, I'd say the food was above average, with some dishes that were hits and misses. But I've had better in California. This restaurant relies too much on its location,...More
