The food was good, but the 3 of us ordered 3 dishes, one of us has already finished her dish when the 2 other dishes came. And one of these 2 dishes was cold. It kind of destroyed the lunch.

Got a margarita pizza and a calzone, Calzone taste was not as expected, Dough crust was very dry,margarita pizza very simple nothing wow. They can get an italian chef maybe on the oven to make better pizzas.

Went with friends for a late night drink. The place was packed , sat at the bar , nice drinks, great anti pasti, pizza and tiramisu . Will be back soon Gemma .

Walking by, we noticed what looked to be a nice modern Italian restaurant and bar. We decided to try and treated to a great evening of food, drink and service. Monday should be renamed Gemmaday!! Their deal is great, for the price you get good quality products with a comfortable portion. Plus is nice atmosphere and the girl manager is very friendly.

Part of the Popolo Group of restaurants, this recently renovated Italian bistro on Dong Hu Rd. has arguably the best pizza in Shanghai. Their Monday RMB111 special (pizza, beer and a gelato) can NOT be beat.

Having lived in Shanghai for over two years, we keep coming back to Gemma. Wonderful food in a beautiful casual environment. Recently the menu has become more diverse and interesting, so venture past the excellent pizza. Especially the salads are interesting and creative. The happy...hour wine, both red and white are very drinkable and a good deal in town. Some of the staff have been here a while and welcome us as neighbors. Nice touch. We keep coming back.More
