As a local expat who have resided in Shanghai for a number of years I visited this restaurant recently with a group of colleagues visiting from out of town. What could be an OK restaurant is unfortunately ruined by fraudulent fees on your credit card. This restaurant provides a service for all foreign credit card holders, where they give you... More

We went there two times during a recent visit to Shanghai and were thrilled by the great atmosphere and mouthwatering menu. Their signature dishes are a must but it certainly is worth while to go experimental. Wines by the glass are pleasant to drink and the waiters go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. To us, chinese... More

great restaurant in the JinAnn area. well located. it serves a good variety of chinese food with your usual fair of szechuan dishes. try the ribs. Skip the lamb wraps. is it the best in shanghai? not really but a safe bet when you have overseas guests. still worth a 2nd visit. expensive in the expat category

Our first and last meals in Shanghai were here. Don't miss out on the sautéed prawns with mustard and sesame- absolutely delicious.

Heard about this place for a while, it's pretty much a refined version of Shanghainese cuisine. A great introduction to good Chinese food especially for people who have yet had an experience with the orient. Very nice clean atmosphere and good service staff. Downside? Poor mobile reception and no wifi.

Very good Chinese food, good interior and very friendly staff. They have a lot of traditional Chinese dishes and a wine and beer list

We went to Lynn for dim sum lunch (all-you-can-eat). They have a good selection of dim sum, and the food tastes good. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the staff there is friendly. I would definitely go back again.

I was getting towards the end of my two week stay in shanghai when I found Lynn. It was walking distance from our hotel, which was a plus. The staff where hospitable and polite. The decor was a bit more flash than your average restaurant. The food was clean and fresh. Overall I'd recommend Lynn.

The restaurant offers a wide range of Shanghai and Chinese cuisine in very good quality. If your Budget allows for that, order some of the seafood dishes including abalones.

Wife and I for dinner on business; week night. Nice restarant in a nice area, how refreshing walking to a restaurant without dodging kamikaze scooters. The place is clean and spacious. Service and food really exceptionally good. Menu well organized and illustrated. English skill far better than most. It will be on our YES list.

Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
