Tried the local oysters and was pleasantly surprised. Great salty taste and discovered they were actually farm raised! Also had some of the local shrimp which were delicious. God Bless those local shrimpers!

Great views, great seafood, great service. They even have great music on the weekends. We have enjoyed Ed's for special occasions over the years. This was a birthday dinner. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, crab bisque, soft shelled po'boy, crab cake sandwich, and the grilled shrimp sandwich. The biggest problem with eating here is you never leave room for... More

Enjoy the sunset over the water with a cold beer and a dozen oysters on the half shell. I don't believe I've had better oysters. Certainly not in recent memory. This is a friendly family-type establishment with lots of local history.

Loved this one. I wondered about the slaw and saltines they started me with. Soooooo good!! I had catch of the day which was very good. The turnips were really good, too. The sunset view was wonderful. Service very good!

My wife and I had to leave I-10 because of a traffic jam and so we went in. The complementary coleslaw was very tasty! The Gumbo pot was a bit small and the Gumbo itself wasn't a highlight. As a main course we had grilled prawns which were tasty but not absolutely fresh I think. The cleanliness on the mens... More

Excellent food and service. Recommended by some locals when we visited the US Alabama-battleship (close by-approx 3miles from the US Alabama). They serve coleslaw with every meal and it is the very best coleslaw! I highly recommend this restaurant if you like seafood. We had fried shrimp (very good), hush puppies (just the way I like them semi-hard on the... More

Love the coleslaw appetizer - crisp and fresh. Shrimp and oyster fresh from the bay. Love the curly fries. We stop here often on the way to the beach. Always good!

This wasn't bad, but not great either. Service was sweet and the scenery is peaceful. I had the grilled scallops. They were slightly over-cooked but well seasoned. The rice pilaf was a brilliant mix of flavors; take advantage of the fresh green onion that they bring for garnish. My husband had red beans and rice with fried catfish. It also... More

This app showed the menu as including some items that weren't on the actual menu when I arrived to eat here. BUT after I asked about those items, the waitress kindly was able to still serve those items to me. I added Mahi to my meal and everything tasted good.

Thank Leigh B
