I went here with a large group of about 20. The server did a great job running up and down the steps to keep the food and drinks coming. We had calamari and oysters as appetizers and both were good. I had pan seared snapper and it was cooked properly and was good. We finished with beignets and they were... More

Never have I ever had anything like this before! Voodoo chicken is everything and it is my life's mission to go to Cajun Steamer to get it when I am in the area. No trip to Birmingham is complete without one visit here!

Had Gator bites before and found them rather chewy, but tried them here on a recommendation. Excellent and tender. Also had the shrimp platter, which was really good. Good service from a pleasant server, and reasonable prices.

The Trussville Cajun Steamer was horrible. I am from Huntsville Alabama and the Cajun Steamer there is awesome. I will never go back, Thank god i had gone the one from Huntsville first had i not i would never go to any. I spent $70 for garbage, RedLobster taste better than that and i hate RedLosbster....So disappointed and dissapointing :'(

This chain restaurant can be good and fun, but my experience has been inconsistent. The food is average when compared with other cajun restaurants I've tried, and I usually drive 20-30 miles past this location to get cajun faire.

The Tuna was rare when served to our table. The waitress agreed and took it from our table but was stopped by the manager who said it was always served medium rare. We asked for it to be cooked more and he asked us at what temperature we wanted the fish. Really!! Just done. I finally said just one more... More

I took my nephews here after their graduation. There was about 20 of us, but the server and her help made it look easy! Not a big lover of seafood but the fish n chips was just for me.

Was in the area to visit Barber Motorsport Park. Found them on Yelp and the reviews looked good as did the food. I had the Bourbon Street Fettuccini. It was very good but I expected some spice from a "Cajun" restaurant. Being born and raised in New Orleans, I expected more authentic given the name. The waitress was really sweet... More

We have been here several times and the crab legs are always the best and the portions are good. We always get the crab legs and have not been disappointed yet. The bar can be a bit noisy, so ask to sit further away if you want to be able to talk and not get bumped into by people hovering.
