This is a great BBQ place...great atmosphere and located in downtown Tuscaloosa. This is a local chain BBQ place. Which is fine, because the venue is a lot nicer than the more 'noted' BBQ places in Tuscaloosa. The pork and BBQ beans are really good. The greens are decent. I found the salad to be a little disappointing, not sure... More

We had a gift card from friends. Location is nice, parking available. Interior is nicely decorated and everything very clean. The kitchen is half open. Service was good and friendly with the baby as well. The only thing that didnt strike me was the food itself. Everything was fine, nothing to complain really. But it was all so standard...no twists... More

One of my favorites. The bbq is good but a bit pricey and takes a little bit longer for service. Not good if you have only an hour. Ribs and Brisket with Baked Beans are great. Don't forget to ask for the cheese muffins. They sometimes forget to bring them. I think they try to hoard them in the back... More

Had dinner with some friends. Very nice restaurant. Had the nachos for a appetizer and it was very good. Had the BBQ sandwich with their vinegar sauce and fries. It wasn't bad but nothing special either. The cornbread muffins they give you are fabulous. The waiter was way over stretched.

I have to admit I've had way better barbecue. The side weren't as good and just in general I wasn't very pleased by my mael. Didn't seem like it had a lot of flavor.

Jim "N Nick's has the best pulled pork in Tuscaloosa. It is truly pulled and NOT chopped. Holiday and Alabama football weekends is a great time to plan ahead and get the best in town.

Wait staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for first time visitors. Waiter's name was Adam. Very polite young man. The pulled pork was acceptable for tenderness and flavor was good. Ribs were not as tender as I feel they should be. Baked beans were slightly dry. Collard greens were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Homemade BBQ chips are quite... More

Jim 'N Nick's smoked chicken is tender and delicious! Try it with their white bar-b-que sauce. So yummy. We also like their tossed salads, baked beans and Mac & cheese. But don't forget to try the coconut cream pie! Simply delicious!

The pork was amazingly fresh, succulent, tender, and infused with amazing smoke. Some places bury their pork in sauce and never let you taste the beauty of the art of smoking. Jim 'N Nicks has amazing sauce that compliments their artful offering of pure smoke. You don't want to miss this in Alabama. Recently, you can now even enjoy it... More
