A favorite from my college days but it's not the Cypress Inn I once knew. Still has a great view of the river, ok service and average food taste.

Clean, friendly atmosphere. Tables not too close to each other. Food served hot. Great tasting meals. Restaurant is by the Warrior River making the ambiance serene.

Wow! Recommended by a local. Fried green tomatoes, fried catfish, hush puppies, squash casserole, green beans... Mississippi Mud Cake... all so tasty that we had trouble stopping from WAY over eating.

wonderful food and excellent service . Be sure to get a window seat or dine outdoors and watch the river roll by. Better yet spend the day on the Black Warrior river and tie off at their dock for lunch or dinner.

Lovely view by the river, pleasant staff. We got great service, but our chicken was dry. The squash casserole was good, the bread was scrumptious. If the main entree had been nice and moist, I would give it a 5. This was our first time...More
