The original ice cream parlor has been renovated and is awesome. Had the chicken salad sandwich, then a double scoop of ice cream. Lots of history.

Here with my husband and kid after a hike. Walk in and the place is empty except for a few girl at the end of the bar eating. We stand there a little lost when one of the girls says hey yall going to need menus or you just getting ice cream? I say I think just ice cream as... More

Several of us stopped in for ice cream, pie, and a sundae and we plan to return sometime for a real meal. This was a pharmacy and pictures and memorabilia of the building's past dated back to the early 1900s decorates the walls of the well lit, high ceilinged restaurant. The service was immediate and very friendly. The desserts, service,... More

Quaint ice cream parlor with good food and great shakes made the old fashioned way. Check out the old prescriptions wallpapered in the bathrooms!

The Palace is such a unique restaurant that you must visit if you are in Tuscumbia. It's styled as a 1950's soda shop. It offers such a fun atmosphere. The prices are incredibly cheap for today's times. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was really good. You must try their desserts if you are here. I recommend their milkshakes... More

We stopped in for a light lunch and were pleased with our sandwiches - chicken salad combo and egg salad/olive. We made room to split the homemade chocolate cobbler with ice cream, whipped cream, cherries and nuts (we chose walnuts). Our server was friendly and prompt. The old building had a varied history, which is described on the back of... More

What a great place to step back. The old-time soda counter, the food the every. The shakes (they have many to choose from) are great. They even provide you with the frozen mixing cup. A lot of history and a fun place to go.

A nice selection of desserts in a nostalgic atmosphere. The chocolate cobbler is decadent, and the prescription-covered restroom walls are worth a look. Our kids loved sitting on the stools at the counter Worth a visit!

Not quite the "ice cream parlor" of old but a fun stop and good shakes and sundaes. Some other foods offered each day. No sign out front so we drove around the block several times before finding it but mom wanted to go so we went. Nice staff. Interesting old Rx's as wall paper in bathrooms!. W/C can get in... More
