Had tenderloin steak here as well as shrimp cocktail starter. Service was very slow but this was mainly due to 2 other large tables prior to us arriving. Unfortunately people that were on our tour and on the same table as us were rather rude to the staff as they had to wait a long time for their food. It... More

Food was fabulous, service was great, really friendly staff. Our dishes came fast and the restaurant offers good prices. Best meal we had in CR. Definitely worth a visit!

we visited La-Fortuna for 3 days. We were looking for a nice but not too fancy restaurant to eat. At hotel reception recommended us on Rancho-Perla. We came with no expectation and we found amazing place to eat. Service was great, Menus in English, Wonderful food - and the price was Fair! We took two fish dishes, they were big... More

A very open air spot a bit off the main drag and a bit difficult to find. Great service and food. And very inexpensive. One of our better meals in Costa Rica.

We went to this restaurant on the advice of several locals. The food was great, the service was great and the price was considerably less than eating at the hotel. I had a steak, my wife and daughter both had seafood and we all thought our meals were the best we had.

My wife, son, and I ate here while staying in the Arenal/Fortuna area. It had been recommended by staff at the hotel as well as the driver who brought us from San Jose so we figured it was worth a try. It is located about a block off the street so you would not find it by accident. It like... More

On a hot day it's great to sit in the open-air breeze and down a few Imperials. I had the crab avocado and also the chicken and rice. My wife had the sea bass. It was a three-way tie for awesome!

This was an excellent lunch for $11. The restaurant is a popular tourist spot (handy souvenir shops on either side) and we were very pleased with the food. The restaurant is located on Calle 468 and Avenida 331. This is when we learned that Costa Ricans don't go by addresses but more by landmarks--Rancho Perla is one block from the... More
