This was our best buffet lunch in Costa Rica. Came here as part of our tour group activities. Added bonus was the tour in the beautiful gardens and the sugar cane processing demo.

Educational, interactive and fun. Excellent lunch. The staff was fun and informative. So many plants and organic processes to learn about. Beautiful scenery if you decide to eat there.

Absolutely loved this spot! Went for lunch as part of our wave expedition tour. Coffee education, Sugar cane education and a little surprise sharing of their moonshine... Not for the fufu drinkers! Haha! The food was so delicious definitely worth the trip!

A guide will take you around the farm to learn about the different crops they are growing. You will pick a few vegetables that they then prepare for you for lunch. There is also a fun sugar cane demonstration and opportunity to sample drinks and deserts made from the sugar cane. Lunch was very good made with the vegetables just... More

We showed up for lunch and really enjoyed the setting. It was a bit hard to find and we almost gave up, but I'm glad we didn't! It looks like most of the tour groups use this as part of their itinerary, but we travelled on our own after calling them and setting up a reservation. The lunch was very... More

We visited here for an early lunch after walking up Cerro Chato mountain. Food was authentic local produce. We enjoyed our food and the hospitality offered.

I visited the Don Juan organic farm with a tour group, and Don Juan was quite informative and entertaining (though we needed an interpreter). Whether it was sugar cane pressing--and drinking some sort of sugar cane spirits--or watching the man slice anything with a machete, the visit was never dull. We ate at the restaurant, and the food was good.... More

Pleasant and informative organic farm tour with Don Juan Bautista. We had an introduction to sustainable agriculture techniques. One of the most interesting things was the use of cow manure to generate methane gas.

I'm a coffee lover and chocolate crazy. The tour is well organized, educative and interactive. We just did not like the taste of the offerings. Tour guides were nice and fluent in English.
