A good place for a cheap lunch or breakfast. Not fancy, and a little uncomfortable, but the food was well prepared.

If you want to taste a excellent rise and beans (a traditional Caribbean food) this will be a excellent option. Prices is good (a plate of rise and beans and a natural juice may cost USD6.0). However, they only serve rise and beans at the Thursday (maybe Friday) only for lunch. They accept debt card.

Soda la U is your best bet while visiting or passing by Turrialba. The Martínez sisters prepare delicious , fresh and healthy food, specially the Thursday's caribbean Rice'n Beans and on Friday night the Viernes de matiz, special menu including crèpes, pizza, pasta, etc. Friendly, young atmosphere, quick service & great deal! Go Cindy!!

We go every Thursday for lunch where they prepare Caribbean style Rice and Beans served with salad, plantano maduro and your choice of fish, chicken, porkchop or fried cheese. The homemade hot sauce makes the dish! The service is always quick and for $5 you... More
