The restaurant is in a beautiful house, however the ceviche was really small and a bit small pricey. The service was good!

Visited the cafe at 7.30pm after dinner. It is perfectly located in the city, less than 2 minutes waking distance from the Tourist Information Centre along Central Street. Staff are very fluent in English and very polite! The environment is just lovely to relax and unwind with great jazz music in the background. There are two large windows that open... More

Hello Lisa, sorry for your bad experience, but i don´t see where is the problem: we are a restaurant and the kitchen open at 11 am. It's rather early for a restaurant. Before 11 am, we have a large choice of coffees and natural juices. You write a negative review without even having tasted a single dish or drank a... More

We showed up at around 2pm and was told that the kitchen was closed until 5pm for dinner. I expect this in Spain or in some fancier places but this is neither.

Hello Rey. thank you for your review. unfortunaly, in high season, we close the kitchen at 2 pm until 5 pm to prepare the dinner. But, during this time, we have some snacks, deserts ans beverage like an all-day menu. best regards, More

I liked the food, they have a special touch, and I enjoyed that courtyard garden. There were figs available to eat from their fig tree as well.

This restaurant is on a street with some of the few preserved mansions in Liberia. Unfortunately Costa Rica has not done a great job of preserving the more recent past (1700 & 1800's ). This place has been well restored. It is worth a quick stop just to see. The food is also very good. They sometimes have art exhibits... More

More

Trawling the streets of Liberia looking for a place to park we came across this hidden gem tucked away on a small street. The Cafe served great food and drink. We found our first really good espresso here which washed down two really excellent lunchtime salads. The staff were really friendly and professional . One of the best lunch halts... More
