We stopped here on our way to La Fortuna to see what all the fuss was about this world renowned Blue Zone. It didn’t disappoint. Awesome ambiance, the food was so fragrant, fresh, and delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Everything is made so fresh, immediately after you order! my pasta penne aurora was AMAZING and my friend had a delicious panini! The atmosphere is so cute and so intimate, very hidden! i liked it a lot! such a gem (:
The drinks here were tasty and the outside seating was great - but we were up-charged for “large” drinks (when the menu showed only one size), and the final bill was too high by about $4 - I had to ask them to re-add it...a few times to get it right. Maybe they assumed we were rich tourists who wouldn’t notice? It left me with a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise good (if expensive - $30 for two sandwiches, three lemonades and a piece of cake) snack. Just add the bill yourself!More
We were on our way though town and found a wonderful dinner. We had great sandwiches that are huge. The ingredients were fresh, quality ingredients! The pineapple smoothie and coffee were perfect. The cafe was very clean, beautiful, and modern. You can't see it from...the road but that's a good thing. The location is quiet, relaxing, and you feel like you aren't in the middle of the city.More
We stopped here en route to Nosara and had a very tasty lunch in a beautiful small courtyard. Spotlessly clean and super friendly staff. Chef Daisy is lovely and clearly cares very much about the food she serves. Highly recommended!
