The bread culture in Costa Rica is so pour but the Tico's bakery is probably the best traditional bakery in Coco. There are some good pastries and good cakes.

Excellent Bakery! This was our first stop every morning for pastry and coffee - all freshly made that morning. Selection varies day to day. Friendly staff. Recommend packing a few snacks from here on the day of/before before departure to avoid the extortionist prices at the airport(13 USD for cr cheese bagel & coffee).

We stayed in Playas del Coco for a week and made this Tico bakery a part of our morning routine. We mainly had coffee and the cornbread that they made there, which was like a delightful cake. Staff are friendly, but make sure your Spanish is up to par! Excellent bakery - one visit and you'll be hooked!

A small pastry shop in Playa del Coco. We were looking for a coffee and pastry and this little shop was fine. Not a huge selection but our pastries were fresh and tasty. Good coffee, inexpensive.

We bought many items here, all fresh cooked daily that we took on our day trips and for snacks for our room. Great coconut and banana bread. Also they open at 4:30 am for breakfast. Don't let the outside fool you. A great bakery +

Good variety of great bakery items. Coffee machine for a "gas station latte" or a traditional coffee pot for black coffee. Would rate it over 5 if we could.

He is also an avid rider and often rides his Harley around town and the surrounding beaches. If you rent a Harley while you are... More

Have to get there early in the morning to be able to get the bread but it is well worth it. It is wonderfully soft and very tasty. We'll have to try to get a regular loaf of some sort. It's cheaper than the grocery store too.

I enjoy their bread and they make good sandwiches to grab on the go. The coconut balls are delicious.
