A simple beach bar, but with quality cheap eats and some shade. The nachos are stupendous, drinks are cold, and coffee is excellent.

This is the kind of place you dream about during a long northern winter. A comfortable open air beach front restaurant with friendly staff, decent music and a laid back vibe where you can kick back, sip a drink and eat while watching the waves roll in. Food is good and not expensive, and the happy hour drink specials are... More

Food was not bad, but not exceptional either. Only two servers for the entire venue, which was almost full...

Let me preface by saying I have been going to Mexico every year for 30 years. The attitude towards service in many restaurants here appears like they are doing you a favor if you visit. The one time I tried to eat here I turned around and never returned. So never tried the food. But service, get a clue!

Right on the beach. Very good prices for the location. You can eat cheap here if you go for things like tacos. I really liked the grilled avocado and pico de gallo w/ chips. Best bargain in town if you consider the location and reasonable prices. Expect slow service (as w/ most places in Samara).

Lo Que Hay was one of our favorite restaurants in Samara. We visited it several times. Reasonable food prices for a beachfront establishment. Our family enjoyed tacos, salads, fresh fish, and don't forget the super nacho plate with grilled shrimp. All were very good. Friendly staff, but don't get in a hurry to eat anywhere in Costa Rica.
