Delicious falafel and hummus! Very friendly owner, was nice to chat with her and hear about her kids growing up in Costa Rica.

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 20 March 2017

We have eaten in many Mediterranean restaurants around the world, and the Falafel Bar is right up there in our estimation. The falafels are simply the best. The humus stands out, too. The atmosphere is inviting -we ate on the porch - and the staff pleasant.

I can't fault this place. It's a nice quiet location as it is not on the main strip. It has great simple food which actually feels healthy for a change. This prices are good. You should all try the babaganoush and chilli.

I will literally never forget this breakfast! We came here 4 (or was it 5?) days in a row for breakfast and it was delicious every time. With Tamarindo being quite expensive for a budget traveler, we appreciated the quality of meal we got for only $4. The omelette pita is seriously my new obsession and I'm going to try... More

We love love loved the food and drinks here, actually the only place we ate at more than once on our ten day trip. Watermelon herb vodka cocktail was to die for. The vegetarian and vegan options were unmatched in tamarindo. Hummus, pita falafel all unbelievable and they had a great super spicy spread that the owner packed up for... More

We actually happened to find this little haven at the last minute. Another restaurant we wanted to try was actually closed so we stopped here and we are so glad we did. The restaurant is small with inside and outside dining. It is absolutely immaculate and the service was excellent. The best hummus I have ever had! Actually all the... More

I'm not sure how you can get griddled chicken wrong - this was just full of sinews and fatty - couldn't eat it. When I complained no offer of discount. Staff are friendly but service painfully slow on a quiet night. So many good eateries in Tamarindo... don't go here. But Green Papaya and Oveja Negra (next door) are both... More
