We went to Lizard king for breakfast one and only one time of our 2 week stay in Puerto Viejo, the menu looked good but we found the prices a little high for what we got. The banana pancakes were good but over 11$ US which seems high compared to some other places we visited with the same or better... More

The first place we ate at during our visit to Costa Rica. Very friendly and attentive staff would highly recommend it. The breakfast was a very good size and a very good price.

Any time my husband and I are on vacation, we make it a point to eat local and try new things. The food at the Lizard King Cafe was amazing! It was our favorite place to go to breakfast before sight-seeing and adventures. It was very clean and our service was always amazing.

This cafe became my daily breakfast spot. The coffee was just right for me, the menu varied enough to please everyone in my family and the staff didn't give me "the look" when I came in with my childfren. Instead, they made sure we had a roomy table and made us all feel welcome. The food was great and the... More

I don't consider myself among the food lovers, but all that changed when I and my wife decided to take lunch at this cafe. I took the best tacos and rice I have ever eaten and finished every last bit of it. The food was delicious, the staff professional and the best part being that the price was pocket friendly.... My boyfriend and I ate here several times during our stay in Puerto Viejo recently. My favorite dishes there were the breakfast specials that were full of flavor and spice. We ate here a lot because of the food that was very affordable and the staff that were super helpful and friendly. I recommend the breakfast burritos, too awesome.

Thank Tiasco
