We enjoyed trying the local food at this place. I had the fish in tomato sauce. My husband had the chicken with rice. My son had the chicken breast plate shown in the picture below. There is a television and seating is outdoors.

During our trip, we found that the local restaurants are much more authentic in local cuisines. We enjoyed their daily special for lunch: fish with shrimp, rice, vegetables plus a glass of white wine for 6 colones. It hit the spot after a hike and rappelling in the morning!

My wife and I recently had lunch at this restaurant based on the recommendation of two local friends. We were very pleased with the quality of our food and the prices were very reasonable. Service was also very good. We live in Costa Rica and have eaten a many local restaurants. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.

This restaurant was great. The food was fresh and tasted terrific. The sevice was good as well. Just be sure you can order in spanish. But the arroz con pollo, arroz con camarones and especially the arroz con pescado (the biggest red snapper) were awesome.

Isage was recommended to us by a local resident and we were not disappointed. We ordered shrimp and rice, chicken and rice and black beans and rice and all were delicious. You could actually see the ladies cooking your food in the kitchen and the tables were clean and servers were friendly. Prices were great compared to other restaurants in Jaco... More

Great food at a reasonable price. The wait staff were very helpful with constant, genuine smiles. In fact one of the waiters became a participant in our wedding and is planning a visit to our ranch !!

Lovely and friendly bar staff (our favorites were Leticia & Eva) for some drinks before going out or to cap your night. We didn't try the food, but it smells amazing so want to come back on our trip and try it and will hopefully do so and update this review. We ordered Black Label on the rocks for $5... More

Isaga was recommended by our surf guide as one of his favorite places to eat. Had the Filet Isaga (twice, as we had to go back), and get the papas fritas. Amazing meal at a place where the locals eat.

Isaga has good food , the prices are fair. Sometimes the service is slow. It was 5 people in our party, and they put everything on one ticket, they wouldn't let us pay separate tickets..Some of the native people might try to sell you a product while you are waiting for your food.

Almost always crowded , cheap eating, quality consequent to the prices of course, Rather reduced menue with no variations week after week, friendly service by stressed waitresses
