Good location and friendly service. Ate twice there, both times good quality and good quantity on the plate. Nice open air typical restaurant, which served beautiful fresh seafood. Surf and turf was great as were the huge prawns. Served with potatoes and vegetables, we enjoyed our meals both nights. No hassles no rushing, just agreat dinner for around 20-25 bucks... More

We went for lunch there twice. It is kind of expensive compared to other places, but it is in a convenient location near the beach. The first time we got fish fillet with garlic - the fish was really good, although the portion not so abundant. The second time, four days later (after our trek to corcovado) we ordered fish... The huge prawns we had and the cerviche were all excellent. Our friends had the pesto tuna which was also good. All were the specials of the day and turned out to be good choices. The vibe of the place was so-so. It was cavernous and noisy. So if you are looking for fresh, well cooked seafood, this is a... More

This is a large and prominent place on the waterfront of Puerto Jimenez with a great view! But not very clean. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and smelled the toilet from one side and sewage from the other. That's a pity because the red snapper we had was very good, as were the giant shrimps.

Our large family has a variety of tastes. Some were more adventurous than others. While some of the kids got burgers or chicken, others took risks and chose octopus. The ribs were just as good as the lobster and mahi mahi. It's the local favorite, but welcoming for foreigners.

The food here is good and is reasonably priced. The view of the bay is great! The whole fried fish was my favorite.

Good location on the waterfront but unfortunately very near the loud karaoke bar with non-stop, incredibly bad singers. The seafood dish we had was ok but seemed quite overpriced vs. other meals we had enjoyed elsewhere. The roof also leaked over us when it started raining. Then when the bill came, we were surprised by the 10% "service fee" which... More

My family just ate there and had the most unacceptable experience. We disliked three out of five meals and they didn't even care. No discounts, no apologies. Their nachos consist of fake cheese whiz (if that's possible) and tons of lettuce. Very little chicken. Steak was grey. Shrimp cocktail was luke warm. Cannot even comprehend why anyone would want to... More

While Costa Rica is known for being laid back, the service time in this restaurant is way beyond. We sat a good 20 minutes before the waitress came to our table to drop off menus. Another 15 before they took our order and then 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The Ceviche and the Sopa Mariscos were excellent. The... More

Among our best food in CR. Ceviche wtih patacones was excellent. Fresh tune meuniere also. Fresh pina coladas and other drinks - we could see the bar and fruits getting chopped & blended into drinks and smoothies. Great people watching of folks from everywhere & lots of ticos, always a good sign.
