My wife and I and my sister and her husband stayed at Las Cascadas for a week. The hotel owner highly recommended the Club Banana, so we checked it out. It is a hidden jewel, and MUST be experienced! The exterior of the Club is not all glitz and glamor to woo the tourists. The interior is like a meeting... More

Our hotel told us about this great place! We weren't sure when we entered..its a local place and the owners speak no English and we speak little Spanish..BUT the menu was also in English so there was hope! Through a phone translator and pointing and signs we were able to order our delicious meals! i had the garlic shrimp..HUGE helping... More

We had a good lunch here, not as cheap as some smaller sodas we have been, but the food was good, very local restaurant and not touristy at all. You can check the menu here posted at photos, they have good choices. You can also go here in the evening for a fun time and drinks. Plenty parking space.

Local restaurant close to Las Cascadas where we stayed. One of our favorite locations in Quepos. Very reasonably priced. Waitress is very friendly. Ping pong and fusbol table make it fun.

This place is only locally know and only locals go there. Our AirBnB hostess pointed it out to us. We went there for dinner every night. It was just absolutely delicious. The owners themselves cook and serve. They are wonderful people. It is not that hard to find because there is a bright neon sign on the building saying "Imperial... More

Loved the Banana! Wonderful people, great friendly service and fabulous food. Felt like eating with old family friends. Not cheap, but great food and can't beat the people.

Hidden away in the Zona americana just down from Condotel Las Cascadas and just in front of the Marina Pez Vela is this quaint and... More

My wife and had dinner here the last two evenings. Go there for the food and friendly service. The physical aspects of the dining room are very basic - it is like a community hall or rustic bar/restaurant. The fish Ceviche was great - C 3000 and the fish fillet fried with garlic, rice and fries or salad was C... More

Fantastic family restaurant with a great selection of foods. Also a ping-pong table and lots of atmosphere. I would go back in a nanosecond.

Good food & friendly / attentive sevice. We had the fish filled covered in seafood with "white" sauce (aka creme...though if you prefer they have a tomato sauce). My wife had a whole fish. Hmmm, we enjoyed....even came back for dinner again two nights later. Atmosphere, had no decor to speak of, best description is a step above a local... More
