This used to be one of my regular stops every trip to SJ. I have not been here for over a year but we droped in with the family last week . I was first unpleasantly surprised at the huge increase in prices . Paying $16 to $18 for a suchi roll to me seems rediculous . . Apart from... More

We arr regular clientsand we all love this place. The food quality is always good, the service is great and the atmosphere is nice. The teppanyaki is really good but I am a sushi lover so this my review is mainly focus on sushi and starters. For starters I always recommend the spicy edamame, if you like spicy food you... More

I frequent this restaurant. The service is great and the food is good. One of the things I love about this place is how fast they dish the food up. Cozy and warm atmosphere; pleasant music. Fair value.

We were staying at the Courtyard in Escazu and looking for something within walking distance and saw this from our window. I was a little worried because reviews on this site were a mixed bag, but we decided it was worth trying. Friendly service, and delicious food! Part of our group had sushi, part had Teppanyaki and everyone thoroughly enjoyed... More

I ordered a rainbow roll for $16, I was so disgusted I pulled out a picture of a restaurant where I ate last week and showed it to the sushi chef and the waiter on how a Rainbow roll should be made . it was 99% rice and the fish they put on top was as thin as ginger and... More

Four of us visited the Teppanyaki section, overall we felt it was overpriced. One of our meals was too salty and another one too dry to eat. It was nothing memorable.

Quite happy with the place. The food was good and the service was great. Met the owner and he was a very friendly person. enjoyed the tuna/salmon cracker appetizer the most. the sushi itself is as to be expected in Latin America. I would return.

It is one of my favorite Japanese restaurant in town. It is divided into two sections of Teppanyaki (hibachi) and Hall (Sushi and Noodles). Although Teppanyaki was a little expensive, it was a full course from small appetizer to an amazing dessert. Roll and Sushi was great value for money. The portion was big and it was better than expected.... More

Best teppanyaki in town! Great experience for family and friends to share a table and make your meal in front of you live!

We speak little Spanish, so we often start with an English greeting. The waiter immediately signaled us to wait a moment, and got another waiter who spoke pretty much perfect English. We do not expect this when in Costa Rica, but it's a pleasure when we don't have to work very hard to make orders. We ordered steamed chicken dumplings... More
