Faultless dinner with excellent service. The menu was varied and innovative choices. Bonus of serving craft beer from Costa Rica.

Had both good nad bad food experiences here at dinner and breakfast. My tip is order as soon as they bring the water around or you may wait a while. Good wine list nad cocktails. Duck was go to dish for dinner, pico for breakfast. Cocktails are great.

This place is truly a hidden gem in San Jose. The hotel is so old beautiful. The architecture is breathtaking. The food was delicious. The servers were a little slow but not a big deal.

This is one of the best dining experiences in San Jose. Traditional and elegant in both its decor and its cuisine. The table setting is very attractive. Food is beautifully prepared local dishes and international classics with a Costa Rican twist. The rabbit and Scallop with foe gras had super amazing flavor.

From the complimentary amuse bouche to dessert, everything was delicious. My husband had the chateaubriand with 3 sauces and I had the lamb shank. Both were very tender, moist and well seasoned. We shared a... More

The environment, decor, etc. is special and so is the food. Go for a special occasion. The house is an old mansion.

For a romantic night out in a historic building this place is great (in the summer get a table in the courtyard). The food is OK but not exceptional.

Grabno de Oro is like an Oasis located in an odd but interesting part of the San Jose, Paseo Colon as it is known is not the best place of San JOse, however they still are some of the most beautiful houses of the old capital, being Grano de Oro one of them. The architectural work done to the property... More

Elegant setting, perfect service and fine food - at least as good as I have eaten anywhere. THE place to eat in San Jose.
