As we sat down we noticed the Trip Advisor 2012 Laureate sticker, which, as it turns out, goes quite nicely with the Christmas themed decoration in the bathroom since both are out of date and neither reflect the current state of things. While in the...More

This is a real French-style restaurant serving very fresh fish caught near Moorea. So not all the items on the menu will be available, you want to order off the items on the chalkboard. We also ate at the very expensive K restaurant, this place...More

Based on positive reviews, we stopped in to have dinner at Le Martinez. There were no customers when we arrived, and none for our entire 2.5 hour meal. The owner told us his credit card machine was "broken", so he could only accept cash. We...More

No real view of the water but a perfectly enjoyable roadside cafe with brilliant seafood, interesting placemats (fish) and amenable staff.

In our 2011 visit to Moorea, Le Martinez was new on Cook's Bay and we enjoyed our meals then. We went back in 2013 and found it continues to be very good. The other half had a lovely fish brochette with rice and vegetables -...More
