Great location and view! The service is ok but the food is the worst I have ever experienced! I ordered a medium rare steak that came out extremely well done and was more gristle than meat with a salad drowned in a foul tasting dressing...More

Went there for lunch after a long day snorkelling and swimming around the island. Food was authentic cool islands and was served quick but it was merely a pub meal that one would expect from and back water hotel. Great setting but extremely overpriced.

We went for an evening meal. Was very pleasant in the restaurant part which is family orientated. The food overall I would give 7 out of 10. And given the chance I would visit again.

Superb location for dinner! See if you can sit on the front of the verandah. I had the crayfish tails which were of fantastic value and tasted delicious. My partner had catch of the day - which was expensive for what it was - basically...More

I had been told to eat here because it was one of the icons of Rarotonga and other people had loved it unfortunately, our pizza came out half burnt and my chicken burger was not the greatest which was a real shame. Maybe we hit...More

Great setting and really fresh fish dishes. Watch the fish off the balcony, watch the boats come and go and the kids swim while you eat on the deck. One of the places to go while on the Island.

We had lunch here and menu/meals were very average. Having visited Rarotonga numerous times over the years I think there are alot nicer places for lunch/more reasonably priced than Trader Jacks. I think it still lives on its reputation of old...

Sunday is always difficult here. Trader Jacks is open six nights a week with Sunday a day off for the hard working team. Bamboo Jacks is open on Sundays for an awesome dinner and a great selection of drinks.
