Fun environment! Recommended to both Alaskans and visitors. Local ownership and great selection of beer.

Went there in September. It was hunting season and so it was crowded. Good thing....open all year round....Bad thing? Took forever to get served, the waiter was obviously distracted by who knows what, the order was wrong, the bill was wrong....and the food was mediocre....and expensive. I do have to say, the french fries were good, and the portions, large....would... More

Came here in 2013 and returned 2016. Food and atmosphere were very enjoyable. Halibut, Salmon, & chowder were tasty. Staff was not as attentive this year as they were in 2013. We notified staff that a cash tab had been sitting on a table, his reply surprised us - 'it is not my table, that is their problem'. sheesh

We stopped in here for dinner on our way back from a day in Denali NP. It was fairly crowded and loud but we didn't have to wait long for a table for two. The food was quite good, although it was expensive, even for Alaska. This place is also a tourist attraction thanks to the presence of a replica... More

I think this is the first worst restaurant review I have ever written, but this place earned - big time! We were all excited to be able to get a table - I am big on IPA's - and love trying local breweries wherever I travel. It was already a bit cold outside so first we ordered a soup to... More

Chris Griffin was a very attentive server with great communication skills. We had a great time and will be coming back. Ironically enough I watch a lot of family guy and his name made me enjoy my experience with him even more so. Great work! Keep It up!

A terrific place for dinner. Very casual, great menu, generous portions, lots of beers to choose from, but it's crowded and that slowed the service a bit. Has such a great local feel. Where else do you find a yak burger? Highly recommend!

My initial experience was with a wedding at this venue. The buffet was well presented with the elk sliders being one of my favorites! But the BEST of all were the employees who were courteous, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Corporate culture filters from the top down. Obviously the owner cares his clients have a positive, fun... More

We were able to walk right in here and we sat at the bar. We had a great conversation with an airman from Anchorage who gave us some suggestions for ordering food and especially the beer. I still wasn't sure so they brought samples to try. Good idea. I had the flatbread pizza and it was very good. This was... More
