I had the seafood pasta and of course the carrot cake for desert. Scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly and the meal was large enough for me to have leftovers for lunch.

I grew up here in Homer and I must say this building has had a few uses over the years! I love what they have done with the place. The high ceilings from this buildings bus barn days make for a really lovely atmosphere with...lots of space on the walls for the local art exhibited. The recycled tin that you see on the bar and on the exterior of the building was repurposed from a disused fish canning facility. The patina is authentic and I love the way the old has been brought into a modern style building. I think it really couples well with the open kitchen and wood fired oven! This is my go to place for pizza in the winter and I really enjoy the steak salad as well. In the early summer you can find the first fresh salmon of the season on there specials board as you stand to be seated. I love this place for meeting friends for a drink at the wine bar, a date night tucked up with my sweet man or a good place to have a large group eat. They are able to accommodate larger groups in there back dining area. Enjoy your time here, its definitely a locals spot!More

This is a difficult rating. Our experience was a 2-3 but based on friend reviews (they are locals) and observation we just probably ordered the wrong items, so I'm compromising this rating to a '4'. First - the staff were pleasant, but not inviting. Second...- I ordered a steak salad. It was tasty but the steak was cold and dry, obviously not fresh. Third - my wife ordered the ribeye. Anyone who knows steak is aware that a ribeye should be ordered and prepared medium-rare or rare. The steak she was served was a degree below shoe leather and about a third of it was inedible. This is partly my fault because you should ORDER STEAKS FROM A STEAKHOUSE - not a local pizza restaurant. Fourth - we ordered a slice of carrot cake for dessert. It was a generous slice and tasty, but it only had a thin layer of dry icing on the top. Would have been much better if cut in half or thirds and layered with real cream cheese frosting. As we dined and as we were leaving, we noticed the pizza being served. They looked and smelled delicious. Then next time we are in Homer, we will give Fat Olives another go - but we will order the pizza!More

Everything about Fat Olives is top rate. Food, service, wine selection. I like to sit at the bar, and during these times, there is social distancing, I think that is responsible.

This place was really great, we ate here twice. We got carry out both times, not many restaurants open due to Covid.

All the friends said to go here for pizza. But husband is doing Keto and I don’t wanna fill up on bread. So we got the rib eye. We also ordered the shrimp and scallops appetizer. We shared, it was plenty. The good: the sauce...on the steak was amazing, wanted more. The veggies (zucchini and yellow squash) was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sauce on the appetizer was just so good! Prices are reasonable. The interior was nice and clean and tables spaced well per COVID rules. The bad: none of the food was warmer than room temp. The appetizer came after our meal was served. (I jokingly asked if it would be comped and the waitress laughed at me.). The steak was over cooked. Shrimp was hard (overcooked) and the scallops were undercooked and had absolutely no flavor without the sauce. Just underwhelming for sure. Oh, and the steak knife was so dull that it literally tore the meat. I don’t normally complain, but I was just so disappointed. I would’ve said something in a more serious way to the waitress, but after she delivered the food we never saw her again. Now, everyone says the pizza is amazing and I want amazing pizza so we may try it out before we drive out so I can have a snack in the truck...More

Great socially distanced location with pizza by the slice to go for folks that don’t want to sit inside. Loved the cheese bread. Everything was amazing here.

Had to wait 45 the first time. The second time we went earlier and did not have to wait. The food was wonderful. Everything was delicious. Great pizza. You can also take out.

Very good pizza! I’m a “ pizza snob” and their Roman style and carnivore pizza were delicious! It was super busy when we went at 7pm and had to eat at the bar, but still excellent service and food!!
