My wife and I had dinner here while on business in Juneau. I had their signature Jambalaya dish, which was a very nice proportion of spicy sausage and prawns! My wife had the halibut gnocchi special which was cooked perfectly. We will be back next trip!

This restaurant has a great location and good food, but they take advantage of the tourist by overpricing items and using the excuse that it's Alaska. They raise the rates significantly ever spring just in time to gouge the tourist.

Throughout our 20 years in business, we've always adjusted our menu twice a year: spring and fall. This allows us to offer our summer guests a variety of local Alaskan seafood, and, yes, market price fluctuates just as it does at your local grocery store. Bottomline, menu items are never "gouged" to take advantage of our seasonal visitors or the... More

The hanger is OK. Sometimes it is awesome, and sometimes not so great. Same with their service. The kids menu fish and chips is great, and if you can get a booth by the window, view can't be beat.

No one likes to be ok, awesome, and sometimes not so great! We’re always working to improve the quality of our food, service, and atmosphere. The menu and view are indeed fantastic, but we want to be remembered for more than just variety and the setting. Thanks for sharing. More

While you can drop into the bar and small, round tables for a beer or snack they also take reservations for larger groups or couples. The fish and chips/seafood is outstanding and atmosphere is warm. More formal eating at one end and sports bar on the other. Great local getaway or tourist attraction as it is on the waterfront with... More

Everyone in our group had terrific dinners: Crab & Angel Hair Pesto Pasta is GREAT, Chicken Fried Steak, Shrimp Basket, Seafood Chowder, Halibut Parmesan, Black & Bleu New York Steak... All were perfect. Service by Speardon James was exemplary, attentive, and immediate as we had "special requests" by several people......

I've ate here several times while visiting Juneau on business trips. The food is very consistent and I've never been disappointed with it. I would highly recommend going here whenever you visit. I would also suggest calling and making reservations because it does fill up fast!

This is a great place to grab a quick bite, drink a beer, and enjoy the scenery. They overlook the bay, and its fun to watch the ships come in. The Chipotle rockfish sandwich was amazing! We went upstairs after lunch to play pool and drink a few beers - great selection! We also ate at Red Dog Saloon and... More

If you can get a seat on the patio, Hangar is the best place to have a meal. It's overlooking the water, and you can watch the float planes come in and take off. The food was pretty decent for the price, nothing really stood out as exceptional but I'd probably go back.

We would love to have you back! The view is certainly unbeatable, but it's disappointing nothing caught your palate. We pride ourselves on having the largest and most varied menu in Juneau: from Alaskan seafood to jambalaya and blackened chicken salads to prime rib. More

The restaurant carries a good range of beers; local, domestic, and imported, The food, on the other hand, was not quite up to snuff. They serve a lot of it (the portion would really have done for at least two people), but the quality of the food just missed the mark, trending into the greasy-spoon space rather than the pub-grub...
