I've been here several times over the years and it use to be much better. The service is spotty, the food isn't very good. Breakfast isn't bad, I might do that again but not dinner or even lunch.

Wonderful food, with a friendly, helpful, sweet waitress who was a local with great information for several interests. Food was hot, delicious, and arrived fresh and steaming within 15 minutes of ordering.

The food was very close to cheap bar food and had been sitting under a heat lamp or microwaved to long only one server for a half full restaurant and price for the fool I would say high

Horrible experience here. First, they were out of all game meat. We all ordered elk, bison, and caribou burgers thinking with a name like "caribou" this would be a good place for this kind of food. We waited about 10 minutes for the server to come back and say we're out of all game meat so we ordered something else.... More

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. First, keep a reasonable perspective. If you're expecting a Michelin star, you're in the wrong place. It's a restaurant that could easily categorized as a diner or greasy spoon. They don't do deconstructions or reductions or emulsions -- they do straight-forward food. The restaurant itself is very homey -- mostly hardwood and... More

Menu kind of limited for my tastes- nothing fancy. Prices consistent with area and food served. Salad bar very basic. Service was OK. Food OK- greasy spoon type diner. Obnoxious guy on cellphone in booth behind us (inappropriate language, loud, etc) Found out he is an owner or something like that ( went in and out of kitchen / serving... More

If you need some down home(Lower 48) cooking on your visit to the Peninsula. Then the Caribou is your place of choice. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty and Dinner is the same. You can get you craving settled here. Open 24 hours.

The food was really good & the prices reasonable. However, the service is super slow. The servers are friendly & nice, I just think they are understaffed. I visited on three separate occasions & found this to be true with every single time I went there.

Came into this location at about 1am sat night, this place is open 24hrs. I didn't have too many options. Food was $10-15 on average. We all got the Caribou and Reindeer burger, which was the same thing; for 6 people it came out to be about $115 with tip. Asked the waiter if the caribou burger was 100% caribou,... More

The outside of this restaurant looked so inviting, that we spent the summer looking forward to trying it out. When we finally did, we wished we hadn't. It was expensive, the service was very slow, and the food was bland, greasy, and cold. The only redeeming factor here was the salad bar, which barely made the place worth half the... More
