Nice vietnameese food. There were only tourists eating there when I was there. But the elderly couple that run the place are really nice.

I ordered the fried shrimp in butter, stir fried beef with vegetables and the banana pancake. They're all so good with a can of Tiger beer! Outside the place is a very busy neighborhood as it is nearby the local market. They have such huge serving but since I was alone, I didn't mind finishing a meal for two. This... More

Found this place through trip advisor, ignore directions on their map as they are a block or two out. Tiny place that doesn't look much but food and price and people running it are great!! We had the beef and the grilled fish. Both filling and tasty. Add in two beers each it came to less than 200,000!

Went looking for this restaurant off TA and found it by accident after negotiating poorly lit roads in the dark. If staying at the Victoria best to stay river side until the art exhibition and then cross the road. We went the other way and had to play Russian roulette with the crossings. Green man just reduces the risk of... More

Service was very abrupt, we ordered vegetables dumplings and we received the mixed ones instead. Also we ordered a banana pancake which we waited 20 minutes for... Then they realised they forgot... By then we were leaving. When leaving they were doing the addition incorrectly and wanted to take a further 20000VD from us... I wouldn't recommend it

Ate lunch here and had the fried chicken with chili and lemongrass. Came with a bowl of rice. Very Tasty. Also ordered the pork and vermicelli. The pork was tender and the broth was delicious. To top it off, the banana pancake was like a huge crepe stuffed with sliced bananas and topped with a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk.... More

There isn't a whole lot on offer in Chau Doc so we were so pleased to find some delicious food at this small restaurant. We had the beef and lemongrass and the pork with vermicelli. The pork had the best broth we have tasted in Vietnam. For dessert, we had the banana pancake which had condensed milk on top and... More

Really good quality food and large portions. Chau Doc is a bit lacking in places to eat and this place looks nothing from the outside. We kind of went in as there was nowhere else but we're really glad we did. It's a typical Vietnamese local eatery but serves up great quality at great prices.
