Excellent location. Food can be improved. Starters quite too much simple while inteded to be sophisticated. Good the potatoes with fried pork. The meat, in prinicple star of teh menu was ok, the old cow steak too hard to eat (also knives did not help much - need to improve the quality of tools provided-). The baby cow meet was... More

This has got to be one of the best places I have ever been in Spain ,the food and service was wonderful and at a reasonable price,I could go on about what we ate and this and that but all you need to know really is that the food and service here is amazing You won't be disappointed

Following reviews on this site we sought out this place for lunch and were so glad we did. Stunning modern tapas and friendly service. When we asked about the tapas dish which accompanied each beer that others were ordering, they brought us one to try for free, and it was the most amazing tapa we have ever tasted. Returned the... We were staying at Las Leyendas hotel and decided to eat at this attached restaurant. The service was very nice and our meals were wonderful. The three of us each had the Ávila tenderloin with potatoes and peppers. It was a wonderful treat to have a traditional meal closer to our experiences back in the USA. The steaks were flavorful... Cream of seafood soup, hamburgersitas, empanadas criollos, ensalad de queso de Cabra, Bacalao al horno con mermelada de tomate, pasas y espinacas fritas, and Oro de la Castelo. Add to that the impeccable service offered by Germi, an obvious pro at what he does, and you have a great evening. Atmosphere could stand an upgrade but the food and service... More

We were staying at Las Leyendas hotel located in the same building as La Bruja and visited the restaurant for some drinks and tapas. All wines were good (excellent Moscatel). We tried their selection of croquettes (surtido de croquetas) and some empanadillas (one is served for free with your drink). Croquettes were so-so, from 3 types of empanadillas the meaty... More

It is a cozzy, charming and warm restaurant that also serves good tapas. We have enjoyed the typical Avila Chuleton, a juicy meat served with potatoes. The wine menu was also very good. The restaurant was full on Sunday, that is why it took time to be served.

We ate there after visiting the walled city. The atmosphere and service is great. We sat outside first for an aperitif which they brought with some lovely complimentary tapas. After perusing the very varied menu, we chose our dishes but decided to eat indoors as it was getting chilly. The restairant is simply decorated but delightful and inkeeping with the... More

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting with outside tables close to the walls of Avila. We were there at Easter and chose to sit inside as it was quite cool in the evening. We had eaten at La Bruja last year and enjoyed the food so decided to eat there again. Once again the food was excellent, the service... More
