We were up here for work and decided on Lemongrass. Beautiful food, perfectly cooked and so tasty. Plenty to keep us happy. Great service.
We were staying at the Alpine Motel and we walked around the town for the best place to eat and came back to the Lemongrass as the best option. We were not disappointed. Excellent food and great service and friendly atmosphere. We would highly recommend it as the place to eat in Ohakune. It is on our must visit again... More
Very good Thai food. Cooked by a Thai chef. Service was great. We had a very good evening. All the meals were enjoyed by our group of 12.
We had a party of 10 so there was a fair range of starters and mains to comment on and everyone had excellent things to say about their choice, and would happily dine there again

Set underneath a hotel, this little gem serves up the best highlights of SE asia. I have travelled extensively and this has been the best serving of red curry and vegetarian (tofu) pad thai I have tasted.
The food was good, service excellence, ambience average (A little bit of work would go a long way to making it feel more welcoming). I had a classic Thai basil and chill dish which was well cooked with enough spice to notice but not too much that it overwhelmed. Good portions.
