We knew it would be good because so many of the local people suggested we go there. The menu was varied and the food was excellent. The staff were attentive but did not hover. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

When you say you're going to Bisbee, this is people's first question: Are you going to Cafe Roka? From the charming table at the second level that reminded me of the proposal scene in "Love Actually" to the 100 percent spot-on service, this place does...More

Found our way to Bisbee and Cafe Roka on a friends recommendation. Gretchen Baer our host and culinary guide for the evening was amazing! Recommended a half rack of lamb for my wife...not on the menu and the spicy Italian sausage with penna pasta was...More

We agree Gretchen is a fine waiter and her cross border work is amazing. fyi...Bisbee is 5 miles from the border with Mexico at Naco, AZ/Naco,Sonora. It is often thought that the border is a dangerous place; it isn't. She began several years ago to...More

Every single item was beautifully seasoned and presented. Reasonable prices for an upscale restaurant considering that everything includes soup, salad, and sorbet.

Perhaps we are not used to high end food. We enjoyed the meal, setting, guitar player and the parade of interesting people going by. It just seemed a bit overpriced. Parking across the street made it convenient. We had a reservation for four pm on...More

We get this comment occasionally, that Cafe Roka is overpriced. So I want to address this completely as I can. Hang on, this is a long response. There are many costs that go into pricing any particular entree beginning with the labor costs involved in...More

We were told about this restaurant by our hotel and several people in the bar. Do make a reservation because it gets very busy, with good reason. Haven't had an excellent dinner like this in a long time.

My partner ordered the lamb meatballs, and he really liked them. I had the potato gnocchi, and it was just OK. I’m not an adventurous eater, and the dish was a little exotic for my taste. I was mad I didn’t order the night’s special:...More

Thank you. Gnocchi is not for everyone. Although very good at Roka, it tends to go right to the bottom of one's stomach. Thanks for coming in and taking the time to write a review.
