Perfect location immediately off highway between Phoenix and Sedona. Dark and comfy. Friendly. Sat at bar with happy bikers and locals. Perfect bar tender. Had just one beer...32 ounce Grand Canyon amber on tap. Delicious meal of tasty tender BarBQ smoked brisket sandwich. Generous size and great price. Highly recommend this place.
Old-style cowboy feel of a restaurant with a very welcoming wait staff. BBQ pork ribs were okay with decent BBQ sauce. Beans were on the sweet side and very salty. Beef brisket was okay but nothing to rave over. Chile con carne wasn't something we'd order again. The fried zucchini and mushroom basket was served fresh and was very tasty.... More
We met family for a dinner at Chilleens. The food was very good with generous portions. We had a brisket sandwich (very good) and a BBQ platter (also very good).
The food was good and the outside area and back room is very nice. Service was good and the amount of food was very good. Would stop again.
This is our local spot. It's not fancy and doesn't pretend to be. The restaurant and the staff know what they have to offer: good food, decent prices and portions large enough to share. We take our friends there for local color, which they have in abundance. Everyone raves about them having the best burgers in Phoenix (even if Black... More
Fans of Spike TV show "Bar Rescue and John Taffer" will possibly recognize this place as a rescue from 2013. I watch the show Bar Rescue so I was curious how good the place would be 3 years later. The waitress was quite perky and friendly and we were seated immediately. She brought our drinks fast and our food order... More
The brined & slow smoked chicken was delicious! I'm so glad we stumbled on this restaurant on our way to the Phoenix airport. it's an unpretentious place but knows exactly what it does well. The local beer went well with the homemade slaw and baked beans too!
Had BBQ platter, perfect split between 2 people. It was all great, briscuit, chicken & ribs. Homemade potato salad was delicious but warning if you do not like raw onions in your salad, skip it . Tried specialty drinks Firewater Punch & Cherry LngShiner- good and legit drinks, not watered down like so many cocktails.
